Leo Ain't No Tetsuo

While I think that generally the recent trend toward remaking classic action movies has been ill-advised, one or two good things have come of it. Ill-advised or not, there is more to come. Here are couple of potential remakes/sequels that could be good/horrible:

Clash of the Titans is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Right up to the Mechanical owl and the close up of Medusa's head.

No way man, remember the freaky Caliban dude who hung out in the swamp and kidnapped Pegasus? That guy freaked me out when I was younger (I was a lot younger though, like 24).

Of course, like in any relationship, once Perseus married Andromeda (I think that was her name) she got all naggy and he had to put down his sword and start acting like a responsible husband. I believe he ended up with a law degree, which is put to use in his later exploits in "Law and Order".

No way you can remake Robocop. I think one of the things that made this great was that this was pre-Matrix special effects. so the effects were not what made the movie, but the story and plot, not to mention the shootouts, were what made this great. i think if they redo this with special effects out the ass then it just becomes some campy film.
